The announcement for Dragon Valley I was legit screaming my head off, EA gave us a ton of cool stuff to do in SS, like food & music, and my favorite: SPARRING/Martial Arts–but I just wish that EA had done more (as usual), like adding authentic Chinese transportation, hobbies, festivals, etc. The fog and the rolling hills and all the colors–ermagawd.Ĭonsidering WA has EA’s earliest worlds, the lots and townies aren’t that bad, all told–and the tombs are very pretty, too. But all that aside, Shang Simla is just a gorgeous world. It’s no Japan ( darnit–but clearly EA didn’t even learn their lesson in TS4, with the whole Snowy Escape fiasco. Naturally, anything Chinese gets an automatic thumbs up froim me, cuz YES I’m biased, sue me. I’ve been disappointed ever since, cuz their first EP was one of their very best, and I’ve been underwhelmed time & time again–obviously, as seen by this list, and how I feel about EP worlds in general. I was SHOCKED when World Adventures came out Next to Supernatural & ITF, it’s the best EP idea EA ever came up with, with the best world, IMO. SHANG SIMLA (World Adventures) My faaaaavorite TS3 world, leave me alone. MY THOUGHTS (FANGIRLING & RANTING BELOW) S - Spectacular (Shang Simla, Dragon Valley, Monte Vista, Oasis Landing) I changed the default S, A, B, C, D, Don’t Know tiers to Spectacular, Absolutely Gorgeous, Brilliant, Can’t Use Without Mods/Tweaks, Don’t Bother, and FLOP! FAIL!
